A Monkey Promise Unfulfilled

The only real disappointment in our visit to Singapore was that we didn't see any monkeys. Why was I expecting to see monkeys you ask? Because everywhere we went, there were signs telling us not to feed them. There was a giant sticker on our bedroom window. There were signs on the beach. I would have happily not fed the monkeys had I seen any, but as it was, I unhappily did not feed the monkeys I did not see.
