Organized Crime - The Lemur Mafia

So we're at the Singapore Zoo in the Rainforest exhibit with all different kinds of butterflies, birds and animals. We leave the stroller at the bottom of the stairs of an observation deck to look at the 3 tantalizingly-close lemurs.

As we turn away from the lemurs to walk to the other end where bats and sloths are eating hanging fruit inches away from us, one of the lemurs jumps on the rail and walks towards us. He stops just out of Luke's reach and watches us, doing cute human things with his hands. We are in awe of the amazing lemur and stand there watching it, well longer tghan we would have spent on the deck. When we finally leave, we descend the stairs to see his 2 pals ransacking the stroller and bags for treats. They didn't seem t mind our return and didn't leave until their own body weight tipped the stroller over. Remember kids, don't trust the primates.

Monkey Promise Fulfilled!!!

We have made a return trip to Singapore. This time I was determined to see some monkeys - even if it meant cheating and going to the zoo. At first I thought it would be more of the same as we walked past the do not feed or tease the monkey signs.

However, we were quickly rewarded with monkeypalooza! Monkeys, monkeys everywhere!

Claire Stands!
