World's Worst Procrastinator

You may be asking yourself, "Why are there posts now dated 2 weeks ago that I didn't see last week?" You probably are not.

The answer is that in an attempt to strive for accuracy, I date my posts to when events actually happened and not when I got off my duff to post it. If I end up posting off the front page, I will be sure to call attention to it.

Chinese New Year - It Depends

According to a report on page 3 of the China People's Daily, the english language Beijing paper, sales of adult diapers are up 50% before the holiday. It seems city folk are buying them for the long train rides to the countryside to visit their relations.

A Monkey Promise Unfulfilled

The only real disappointment in our visit to Singapore was that we didn't see any monkeys. Why was I expecting to see monkeys you ask? Because everywhere we went, there were signs telling us not to feed them. There was a giant sticker on our bedroom window. There were signs on the beach. I would have happily not fed the monkeys had I seen any, but as it was, I unhappily did not feed the monkeys I did not see.
