Well, the family endured a day long flight back to the States from Beijing and a week of jetlag in Charleston, SC. Time enough for us to return to Chapel Hill for a few days for a visit. But with a limited amount of meals in Chapel Hill, where will we eat? Here is our must list. Our first meal in town was Thusday night dinner. Our choice:

1. No Five Second Rule in China
If it falls on the floor, it's done. Don't even think about putting it in your mouth.

2. You Can't Get Rice in China
You can order it, you can ask for it to come out first, you can remind them during the meal, but you will never taste it's starchy goodness.

3. In an Atheist Country, it Doesn't Matter if the Customer is God.
Good Service? You're not in China.
